Serving OS MasterMap to the UK higher and further education communities.
The challenge was to provide a scalable, robust and reliable service delivering over 500 million OS MasterMap features in GML to over 32,000 users from 148 educational institutions throughout the United Kingdom.
The solution was a Service Oriented Architecture based on OGC standards delivered using Snowflake Software's GO Loader and GO Publisher WFS off-the-shelf products.

Enabling the Met Office to develop timely, accurate and reliable route-based forecasts to support better road gritting decisions.
The challenge was to enhance a critical, faxed-based textual service to a web based forecasting service to provide timely, acurate and reliable route-based forecasts, using existing legacy infrastructure.
The solution (decided after an OGC proof of concept) was a Service Oriented Architecture, providing interoperability and transformation using our GO Publisher WFS and ongoing consultancy and support.

Migration to OS MasterMap: A first for Forth Valley.
The challenge was to work with other key stakeholders to improve the local service delivery provided by Forth Valley by integrating new map data with their existing data into a single, integrated database, all linked to a web based portal.
The solution from Snowflake: GO Loader. A MasterMap and GML loading tool capable of loading approximately 2 million features covering three local authorities, with a 40 minute load time including duplicate removal and building all indices. With COU applied monthly and completed within the hour.
